The City of Pasadena is home to some of the most notable examples of the Craftsman Movement on the West Coast and people come from all over the country to immerse themselves in the Arts & Crafts Movement! Now in its 28th year, Pasadena Heritage will present the Annual Craftsman Weekend on November 1-3, 2019. The Weekend will feature house tours of notable Craftsman properties, along with bus and walking tours, lectures, receptions, and the always-popular Antique and Contemporary Decorative Arts and Furnishings Sale!
The highlight of the weekend will be the Sunday Craftsman House Tour. This signature event will be in collaboration with our friends from the South Pasadena Preservation Foundation. Three of this year’s tour homes will be in South Pasadena and feature beautiful Craftsman architecture. Experienced docents will provide detailed histories of each of the architect-designed homes showcased while guests explore the houses and examine the natural materials, fine workmanship and exquisite detail that characterize the Craftsman era.
