I love waste, working with waste…The Riedizioni project: Thoughts on design, production and sustainability

Luisa Cevese is a self -taught designer based in Milano. She began designing textiles for fashion and interiors in 1984, providing work for companies such as Dolce & Gabbana, Hermès, Chanel, Maharam and Comme des Garçons, among others. In 1996 she founded Riedizioni, a design studio where she re-appropriates post-production and post-consuming materials, combining them with pure polyurethane to create an original and innovative fabric, suitable to be cut into one-of-a-kind bags, accessories and home products. All pieces are hand-made in Italy. Luisa Cevese Riedizioni collection is sold in fashion and design stores, contemporary art museum stores, and galleries around the world.
