This September, we invite you to immerse yourself in the world of midcentury modern architect, Charles M. Goodman.
Goodman was a Washington, D.C.–based architect responsible for innovative residential communities like Hollin Hills in Alexandria, beautifully designed custom homes such as the Sevareid House, and the historic Terminal 1 at Reagan National Airport.
We will explore his role in the mid-century modern movement, his legacy on architecture in the Washington, D.C. region, and visit his custom works and iconic neighborhoods on tours. And don’t miss the midcentury hip cocktail party we are hosting Saturday night!
Midcentury modern enthusiasts, architects, and history buffs will enjoy uncovering more about this hugely influential yet little-known man who shaped modern living in the D.C. area.
