Los Angeles has always been a dynamic incubator for dazzling residential architecture, a West Coast point lighting up the design globe. The AIA|LA Residential Architecture Awards celebrate architecture designed and lived in today and are a component of the AIA Los Angeles chapter’s prestigious awards program.

Whether you have recently launched a practice or are a long-established firm, the AIA|LA Residential Architecture Awards is an inclusive program that invites work at all scales.
Categories range from renovations, and single family homes of up to 2500 sf to multi-family residential projects of more than 50 units plus. Projects will remain in the category they were submitted in, and be compared to projects of like scale.
RAAs showcase home design located in the greater LA area by any qualified AIA member, and AIA|LA members’ work in the typology completed in any location.
